Lincoln Township Board
11 January, 2010

Supervisor Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call present were, Zimmerman, Majewski, Carey, Hardin and Tobin. Also present was County Comm. Lockmiller, Lakes Dir. Carey, Firefighter Englehardt, Planning Sec. Szczpanski, Fire Chief Majewski, Road Comm. Eng. Stocking and 7 other interested persons.

Minutes of the 14 December, 2009 meeting accepted as presented.
Treasurer’s report was accepted as read.

Motion by Tobin to pay the monthly bills, second by Hardin, roll call vote, 5 yeas, motion carried.

Stocking presented a drawing from Wilcox of the drainage plan for the Downtown Enhancement. Stocking reported that other townships are considering purchasing road salt to better maintain roads. The road commission trucks are equipped to measure the amount of salt used.

Majewski gave the fire dept. report with 14 rescue and 1 fire related runs for the month of December. There were 318 runs in 2009.

Carey suggested that we consider charging a fine for those who fail to apply for proper zoning permits.
C. Englehardt inquired as to the process for having a sewer system in Lincoln Township. Zimmerman explained the process and the high cost of such a massive undertaking.
Szczpanski commented on the road patrols not being as visible as they normally are. We will review the daily activity logs.

Motion by Hardin to adjourn the meeting, second by Carey, all in favor, meeting adjourned at 8:14 p.m.
