Regular Meeting
Lincoln Township Board
11 December, 2006
Supervisor Ringley called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Roll call present were, West, Galloway, Ringley, Majewski – absent, Branam. Also
present were, Building Insp. Mantei, Lakes Dir. Carey, Planning Chair Bergey,
Planning member Chapman, ZBA Chairman Hamilton, Zoning Admin. Lambert, Fire
Chief Majewski, Fire Lt. Green, County Comm. Grim, Farwell Village Pres. Grim
and 9 other interested persons.
Minutes of the 03 November 2006 special meeting accepted as read.
Minutes of the 13 November 2006 regular meeting accepted as read.
Treasurer’s report accepted as presented.
Motion by Galloway to pay the monthly bills, second by Ringley, roll call vote,
4 yeas, motion carried.
Commissioner Grim reported that the animal shelter has new week day hours, 10:00
a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the Saturday hours remain the same, closed on Sunday.
Chief Majewski gave the fire dept. report with 3 mutual aid, 17 rescue and 1
fire related runs for October, 280 runs year to date.
Motion by Ringley to approve Nancy House as planning/zoning recording secretary
and Fran Glutkowski as alternate recording secretary, second by Galloway, West -
opposed, Galloway – yes, Ringley – yes, Majewski – yes, motion carried.
Motion by Ringley to approve a road fund expenditure of $3000.00 for the
planning phase one contract with Wilcox – MDOT Enhancement Grant, second by
Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by West to approve that fire department personnel will no longer receive
pay for unattended meetings, effective 11December 2006, second by Ringley, all
in favor, motion carried.
Motion by Galloway to appoint Ron Chapman as planning representative to the ZBA
and Bergey and Osborn as alternate representatives, second by Ringley, all in
favor, motion carried.
Motion by Galloway to adopt the federal poverty guidelines as presented, second
by West, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by West to adjourn the meeting, second y Galloway, all in favor, meeting
adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
