Supervisor Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call present were, Zimmerman, Tobin, Hardin, Carey, Majewski. Also present was Planning Chair Hamilton, ZBA member Hudson, Fire Chief Majewski, Firefighter Engelhardt, Lakes Dir. Carey, Road Comm. Eng. Stocking, Zoning Admin. Lambert, County Commissioners Grim and Lockmiller, Building Insp. Mantei, Farwell Village Pres. Grim, Deputy Humphrey, Bruce Lang MSU Extension rep., and 8 other interested persons.

Minutes of the 12 April, 2010 meeting accepted as read.
Minutes of the 04 May, 2010 special meeting accepted as amended.

Treasurer’s report approved as presented.

Motion by Tobin to pay the monthly bills, second by Hardin, roll call vote, 5 yeas, motion carried.

Zimmerman read correspondence from Wayne and Joyce Newton of Bertha Lake regarding the excellent service provided by Lincoln Sanitation.
Zimmerman read correspondence from the MDNRE regarding the Bacon property.
Zimmerman read a petition from the citizens in the area of 293 Davis St. regarding accessibility of Davis St.

Lynn Grim announced that the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall will be on display at the Clare County Fair.

Bruce Lang of the MSU Extension did a Fire Wise presentation that illustrated the ways that home owners can reduce their risk of wild fires destroying their homes. Lang is available to evaluate your property by contacting the Clare Co. MSU Extension.

Chief Majewski reported 24 rescue and 3 fire related runs for the month of April, 108 year to date.

Tobin reported that the radar imaging at the cemetery, while not an exact science, revealed 195 areas that may be unmarked burials. Tobin intends to record the findings on the map and in the computer program as “unknown”.

Motion by Zimmerman to adopt resolution number 051010-A, a resolution regarding an easement for storm drainage system, second by Carey, roll call vote, all in favor, resolution adopted.

Motion by Zimmerman to adopt resolution number 051010-B, a resolution regarding temporary grading easements, second by Hardin, roll call vote, all in favor, resolution adopted.

Motion by Majewski to maintain the same insurance deductible and renew the townships insurance policy in the sum of $24,795 for the fiscal year 01 July, 2010 to 30 June, 2011, second by Zimmerman, all in favor, motion carried.

The bids for the John Deere Z-Trak mower revealed that Gary Walker bid $1000.00, JR Ringley bid $2225.00 and Francis Loar bid $1025.00.

Motion by Zimmerman to accept the bid from JR Ringley in the amount of $2225.00, second by Tobin, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Majewski to approve a fire fund expenditure of $5000.00 for the purpose of paying the reward for the arson fires at Lake of the Pines, second by Carey, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Hardin to adjourn the meeting, second by Carey, all in favor, meeting adjourned at 9:06 p.m.
