Lincoln Township Board
11 July, 2005
Supervisor Ringley called the
meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Present for roll call were West, Galloway, Branam, Ringley and Majewski. Also present were, Fire Chief Majewski, Fire Lt. Green, County commissioner Lockmiller, Planning Chair Lambert, Road Commission Engineer Stocking, Fire fighters Gurisko and Bury, Maint. Personnel Larkin, Lakes Director Carey and 21 other interested persons.
Minutes of the 13 June 2005 meeting accepted as read.
Treasurer’s report was approved as presented.
Motion by Galloway to pay the monthly bills, second by Branam, roll call vote, 5 yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Branam to approve a general fund expenditure not to exceed $3500.00 for the purpose of the townships annual audit, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.
Chief Majewski reported 1 mutual aid, 19 rescue, 1 fire and 1 power line related runs for the month of June, 166 year to date.
Motion by Branam to approve a general fund expenditure of $300.00 for the purpose of placing a reward for the arrest and conviction of person or persons responsible for vandalism in the township parks, second by West, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by Ringley to approve a general fund expenditure of $1093.46 for the purpose of the township participating in the Roving Recreational Leadership Program, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.
Werner Mantei and Jerry Bury discussed with the board the choice of contractor to refinish the township hall floor. There was no offer to rescind the original motion approving Joe Houle to refinish the floor; the supervisor closed the matter.
Motion by Branam to adopt resolution number 071105-A, a resolution regarding the separation of the offices/duties of Zoning Administrator and Building/Blight Inspector, second by Ringley, Roll call vote, 5 yeas, motion carried.
Motion by Ringley to release Denton from his Zoning Administrator responsibilities, thereby reducing the Building Inspector wages by $250.00 per month, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by Branam to appoint Al Lambert as Zoning Administrator on a temporary basis at a rate of $250.00 per month plus mileage, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by Branam to increase the burial fees as presented, $250.00 for summer, $500.00 for winter and $45.00 for cremation, second by Majewski, all in favor, motion carried.
Motion by West to adjourn the meeting, second by Galloway, all in favor, meeting adjourned at 9:02 PM.
