Regular Meeting
14 July, 2008

Deputy Supervisor Lambert called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Roll call present were West, Galloway, Branam, Majewski. Also present were Planning Chair Bergey, Planning Brd. Sec. Chapman, Fire Chief Majewski, Building Insp. Mantei, County Commissioners Grim and Lockmiller, Lakes Dir. Carey, Farwell Village Pres. Grim and 18 other interested persons.

Minutes of the 9 June 2008 meeting approved as read.
Minutes of the 28 June 2008 special meeting approved as read.
Treasurer’s report was accepted as presented.

Motion by Branam to pay the monthly bills, second by Galloway, roll call vote, 4 yea’s, motion carried.

Chief Majewski gave the fire dept. report with 1 weather, 34 rescue, 2 fire and 1 power line related runs for the month of June, 172 year to date.

Carey reported that 23 shrink wraps have been turned in to the compost field and have been taken to
Bee’s Sports for recycling.

Motion by Branam to approve a general fund expenditure of $600.00 for the purpose of the MDEQ permit required for the compost field, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Branam to authorize a $400.00 expense as recommended by Dave Dryer for the purpose of additional engineering drawings for the Howell/McCarty litigation, second by Galloway, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Branam to adjourn the meeting, second by West, all in favor, meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
