Regulating illegal open burning:

As part of ongoing outreach to communities, the MDEQ has started a video series called the MDEQ Minute. October features an MDEQ Minute on Open Burning. The video is just over a minute and quickly reviews what is OK to burn and what is not. Please check it out https://youtu.be/MvWbRlZXV7g.

The Lincoln Township Fire Department is a volunteer fire department established and operated pursuant to the laws of the State of Michigan, and is subject (pursuant to Michigan Law) to the overall supervision and control of the Lincoln Township Board.

The Lincoln Township Fire Department, as its primary duty, is responsible for the Fire and Rescue protection throughout Lincoln and Freeman Townships, together with any mutual aid contracts entered into by or on behalf of the Lincoln Township Fire Department.
